Hi, I have copied in handwriting the Fences Discloth pattern. I have started and restarted this pattern over and over and I cannot figure out your instructions. It says you need 35 stitches for pattern and 4 stitches for each end for garter stitch. To me it is not working. On the 1st row what is P1,k3,k1 after the asterisk as I cannot see where it fits in on the end? Very frustrating.
