Hello, and welcome to the first pattern of my Mystery Lace Blanket KAL for 2020!! 😀✨🎉 Please read the following notes BEFORE STARTING:

Enjoy the pattern 🧶, and talk to you soon!
THE ENTIRE PATTERN (written and charted) IS BELOW.
– CO 65 sts with US 6 (4 mm) needles.
|I always cast on and bind off stitches with larger needles than I use for the main work. This prevent my cast on and bind off rows from being too tight.|
– With US 4 (3,5 mm) needles, knit 6 rows.
|Slip first stitch on every row as if you were to knit it, but without knitting it (except on the first row). It will form a neat and sturdy border.|
– Continue working as follows:
5 garter sts, LACE PATTERN N°1 over 55 sts, 5 garter sts.
Work 11 times the LACE PATTERN N°1 complete and then rows 1) to 5) again.
– Knit 6 rows.
– Bind off with US 6 (4 mm) needle. Cut yarn and weave in ends.
– Block your square to its final measures.

1) CO 200 sts with US 6 (4 mm) needles.
2) With US 4 (3,5 mm) circular needles, knit 8 rows, decreasing 5 sts evenly in the last row (you end up with 195 sts).
3) Continue working as follows:
6 garter sts, LACE PATTERNS over 183 sts, 6 garter sts.
After knitting a Lace Pattern for 4’’ (10 cm), ending with a WS row, work 4 rows
in garter stitch, increasing 5 sts evenly in the first row (you end up with 200 sts)
and decreasing 5 sts evenly in the last row (you end up with 195 sts again).
I calculated the final length for the seamless blanket assuming that each lace pattern is to be knitted for approx. 4’’ (10 cm), with 4 rows of garter stitch in between lace patterns.

In case you want to contribute but can't afford monthly payments (like Patreon), you can use this form to help me finance this project (materials, photo editing software, designing time, etc). Or if you just want to invite me a coffee 😀 Thank you so much!
NOTE: I was asked for a one time donation button for my new projects, for those retired or living on a limited budget (thus, for those who can’t afford to support me every month in Patreon but still want to collaborate financially with my work). That’s what you see above. I’m very grateful to the lady who suggested the idea, but please remember that IS NOT NECESSARY to contribute to join the KAL. Each pattern will stay FREE in my website during the MKAL.
